Provenance
Mrs. Pearson, the donor's wife, used this item for pain management for multiple sclerosis; the item was prescribed by her doctor and was used for 5-6 years until it was not effective anymore. It had an approximate value of $100 in 1979 ( with case).
The kit arrived in poor condition as one of the tubes containing gel leaked all over the contents; the diagrams for use of where to apply the electrodes was covered considerably with the gel and the gel had pooled into the center of the case; the gel had broken down the foam in the area where it leaked.
