Accompanied donation of leg braces made for Gordon John Glencross (b. 1920), but only full-length leg braces were listed on hospital receipts; Gordon was diagnosed with polio in 1959 and hospitalized at the Alexandra Hospital in Montreal, Quebec from Aug. 15, 1959 - May 13, 1960; the leg braces were made for him and paid for on Jan. 20, 1960; he continued his rehabilitation at the Occupational Therapy & Rehabilitation Centre at 1031 Ottawa Street, Montreal (see envelope with receipts) until June 1961; Gordon was an employee of The Bell Telephone Company of Canada.
J.E. Hanger Ltd. has been in business manufacturing orthotics and prostheses in Montreal since 1952; included with the hospital receipts was a letter from another patient, Raymond Trépannier.
