Allis intestinal and tissue forceps, which consist of a scissor-like instrument with two oval finger grips and rounded tips with 5x6 teeth; the forceps are made of two parts with a fixed central pivot and snap catch ratchet that holds them together; the handles and blades are straight and the tips flare out slightly, then curve inwards towards each other; the teeth interlock when the forceps are closed

One side of the forceps has the word "STAINLESS" and the Jetter & Scheerer logo of a snake twisted around a caduceus rod with a crown above it, stamped into the metal, and the word "Dept" engraved in the metal; the other side of the forceps has the words, "INGRAM & BELL GERMANY" stamped into the metal and the word "Anatomy 5" engraved in the metal
