Bozeman uterine dressing forceps, a scissor-like instrument comprised of two halves permanently joined with a box lock joint and pivot screw; the handle, which is long and curves upwards, has two closed finger rings that lock together with a snap catch ratchet; beginning at the screw joint, the blades curve upwards and end in a blunted tip; the inside of the tips have vertical gripping grooves stamped into the metal; the inside edges of both the handle and blades are flat
