Baumanometer wall model sphygmomanometer, which consists of (a) the sphygmomanometer, which has a mercury-filled hollow glass scaled tube set into a flat metal bracket with numbers on each side; the bottom of the tube has an attached cylindrical metal inflation system which has a length of hollow cylindrical rubber tubing attached at the top; the sphygmomanometer is mounted onto a flat rectangular wooden plaque; the plaque has three screw holes that go through the wood; there is a manufacturer's label on the plaque beside the sphygmomanometer; there are three screws designed to hold the plaque and sphygmomanometer to a wall (b-d); each screw is a cylindrical length of threaded metal with a tapered blunted tip; the tops of the screws have a finished head with 6 sides over a rounded top; the sphygmomanometer is stored in a rectangular cardboard box (e); the box has a closed bottom and four sides and is open at the top; a lid (f) fits over the bottom; the lid is also rectangular and made of cardboard, and has a closed top and four sides and an open bottom; one side has a manufacturer's label stuck on it

Condition Remarks
The wood shows wear -- scuff marks, but is complete; the metal parts show minor wear, but no staining or corrosion is visible; the glass is complete and undamaged; the rubber is complete and still flexible; a few small cracks are visible at the ends; the box shows several scuff marks and bends; the bottom shows minor staining; there are no missing sections, and the label is fully legible; #2: mercury; rubber.
