Package of adjustable leg bands for fowl, consisting of ten leg bands (a-j) in an envelope (k); the leg bands are all made of a flat piece of aluminum that tapers out at one end to form a rectangular piece; there is a square hole in the metal near the outer edge of the rectangular end; this hole has two small tabs sticking up from two of the sides; the outer edges of the rectangular piece have rounded corners; the long, narrow section has a rounded end; all bands have a number stamped into the metal of the rectangular piece; the bands are stored in a printed paper envelope that has an illustration and printed instructions; the envelope is rectangular in shape and is slit open at the right side (please see sketch on accession sheet).

Each band has the following number stamped into the metal: (a) "9"; (b) "10"; (c) "11"; (d) "13"; (e) "15"; (f) "16"; (g) "17"; (h) "20"; (i) "23"; and (j) "25"; the envelope (k) reads, "The Challenge // Adjustable Leg Band // Numbered 1-25 // Directions:- Place band around the fowl's leg and insert tongue through // the raised loop, drawing tongue through far enough to make band of desired // size, then bend end of tongue back between the two prongs and close prongs // down over band, as shown in above cut. The surplus tongue can be cut off // or left on and band enlarged later if desired."
