Description
Syringe kit, which consists of several pieces housed in a case; the syringe (a-d) consists of (a) a hollow cylindrical metal barrel with an open end that has threading on the outside; the tip has a smaller round opening that has threading on its inner edges; a tip (b) attaches to this opening; the tip is short, cylindrical and hollow with an open base which screws into the barrel and a closed cap over the tapered round tip; a round cap (c) fits over and onto the open end of the syringe barrel; the cap has threading on its inner edges and two flat rounded finger grips attached to the top; there is a hole through the centre of the cap; a handle (d) fits through the cap and into the barrel; the handle has a solid cylindrical piece of metal with threading on its outer edges and a scale in cc at the top; one end of the handle has a round thumb grip; this forms a complete circle with an open centre; the kit also contains another tip (e) which consists of a length of hollow cylindrical metal with an open round end that has threading on the inside at one end and an open round tapered piece with threading on the outer edges at the other end; there is a cylindrical rubber coating that covers all of this tip except for the tapered section; the kit contains four needles (f-i); all these needles consist of a length of hollow cylindrical metal tubing with a sharp bevelled tip on one end; the other end has an open round base that tapers to the tube; all of the needles also have a thin piece of wiring that runs through them; there is also a needle holder (j) which consists of a length of hollow cylindrical metal tubing with an open round end at both ends as well as two short vertical cuts into the metal at both ends; all pieces of this kit are housed in (k) a rectangular metal case; the lid of this case is hinged onto the bottom with a long hinge at the back and there is a single metal clasp at the front; the inside top and bottom of the case has metal attachments which securely hold the pieces housed in it
