Condition Remarks
One white mould spot, the size of a dime, on the edge of the flat round disc. It was touching 997.001.111 which had most of its surface covered in mould. Both artifacts were in 0010-F4-2 storage drawer. The active mould was noticed on September 22, 2015 and the artifact placed in a bag. On October 9, 2015 it was transferred to clean new bag. The stethoscope shows minor wear in the outer finish at the user (disc) end; the wood is complete and shows no cracking; (2) condition unchanged; there were no signs of cracks; (3) condition unchanged; (4) returned from loan condition unchanged.
