Research Facts
This can be taken both intravenously or with an intramuscular injection. It works as a diuretic (increases urine production) and helps with hypertension. It is effective, but very dangerous as it contains mercury (mercurial diuretic).

Dr Ralph and Mrs Olga Crawford donated their extensive Canadian dental collection to the DCF to create the museum in 1997; further donations were received while Dr Crawford was Curator Emeritus at the Dental Canada Museum until its closure in 2008; an advertisement from 1900 states that Dr. Fowler's wild strawberry extract cured diarrhea, colic, cramps and cholera, among other ailments; it claims the extract had been used for half a century
