A green canvas military surgical instrument kit containing several instruments; the roll (a) is green with brown trim and unfolds to reveal the instruments inside; the instruments included are a black metal cylinder with a bottom (b) and a top (c) with eight sutures sealed inside glass tubes (d-k) inside it inside it; a black tube with a bottom (l) and a top (m) containing two long rubber black tubes (n-o); a metal handle (p) used to hold a trephine (q); a ligature carrier (r) two scalpels (s-t); two elevators (u-v); one probe (w) six pairs of forceps (x-ac); one pair of tweezers (ad); and a metal tube with a screw on attachment with a small blade on either end (ae).
