Condition Remarks
The majority of the metal and plastic components are in very good condition; all rubber parts are deteriorating (however, these were not original parts of the artifact); there are cracks in the tubing and canister seals, and there is a strong "rubber smell"; there are a few minor scratches on the outside of the plastic canisters; all parts move freely; on the metal rim of the bottom of the canister, there is a sticky deposit, probably adhesive.
