Research Facts
Sodium chloride is the chemical name for common salt; it is important to overall health because it acts as an electrolyte that controls the amount of water in the body; it is often used to replace sodium lost due to dehydration or low sodium levels for other reasons; also used clean a variety of small wounds and clear sinuses.
Parke, Davis & Co., LTD began in 1866 and became one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in North America; the company was acquired by Warner – Lambert in 1974.
Owens-Illinois Glass Company introduced its “I in O” logo in 1954 and it was used into 21st Century; the “Duriglas” embossed in cursive lettering was used from the 1940s until 1964; basal stippling introduced in 1940s.
Kingston Penitentiary is a former maximum security prison located in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, between King Street West and Lake Ontario. Opened : June 1, 1835; Closed: 2013 Security class : Maximum security Capacity : 564; a national historic site
