Nurses wore special uniforms for their graduation, similar to the regular uniforms but with no
turkey-red band along bottom of skirt; graduation ceremonies were held in Grant Hall from 1920-1974;
beginning in 1921, all graduating nurses received a bouquet of red roses from the Board of
Governors; this was upon the recommendation of the KGH Nursing Alumni
