Belonged to Dr. John Gray, who qualified at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at Glasgow in 1828 and then practised in Aberdeen; brought to Canada by his son, John Gray, who immigrated to Canada ca. 1860 and settled in Coldwater; left to Mrs. Kelly by Miss Katherine Gray, John Gray's last surviving child and Mrs. Kelly's aunt.
