Description
Anaesthesia machine flow meter, which consists of top and bottom square bars with four cylindrical pieces in between; the first cylindrical tube is glass with metal supports at the right and left sides; there is an adjustment knob on the base bar underneath the tube, which controls the oxygen gas it measures; the second cylindrical tube has a solid piece of cylindrical metal with metal supports at the right and left sides and no control knob at the base; the third cylindrical tube is glass with metal supports at the right and left sides and a round piece of rubber on the bottom; there is an adjustment knob on the base bar underneath the tube which controls the cyclopropane gas it measures; the fourth cylindrical tube is glass with metal supports at the right and left sides; there is an adjustment knob on the base bar underneath the tube which controls the nitrous oxide gas it measures; the back of the third and fourth tubes has a metal attachment which allows the flow meter to be attached to the back bar of an anaesthesia machine; the right side of the top square bar has a round valve which attaches to an ether vaporizer.

The top square bar is labelled, "MIE"; each control knob is labelled with the name of the gas it controls; the glass oxygen tube is in increments of 100 to 5000 CCS/MIN of O2; the glass cyclopropane tube is increments of 50 to 750 CCS/MIN C3H6; the glass nitrous oxide tube is in increments of 1-10 L/MIN N2O; it also reads, "163170/C ROTAMETER MFG. CO. LTD. MADE IN ENGLAND"

Condition Remarks
The flow meter arrived dirty and dusty; the metal parts show no corrosion and only minor wear; the glass parts are complete; the rubber piece shows several small cracks; #2 no new damage
