Description
Hydrogen ion testing set consists of a rectangular wooden box (al) with a hinged front that drops down; on the front of the lid is a rectangular plastic plate tacked on with manufacturer information printed on it; on the underside of the lid is a narrow, rectangular, lidded compartment for storing some of the pipettes; beneath this compartment is a printed list of precautions to take while preparing for the test; on the back side of the front panel (which can be lowered) is a white, rectangular slab of glass which fits into a sort of slot that has been formed by cutting away parts of two narrow rectangular blocks that have been screwed to the panel; box contains test tubes, bottles, droppers, and a pamphlet; (a-u) and (ab) are test tubes; (v-aa) and (cf) are bottles; (ac), (ad), (ag-ak) are droppers; (am-az) are droppers in test tubes; (ba) and (bc) are droppers in bottles; (bd-bp) and (br-cd) are glass cells; (bq) and (ce) are cork tops; (cg) is the pamphlet.
