Spine is detached from binding; book cover is quite worn especially along edges and shows rippling; surface dirt and grime; the ink has worn off some of the spine text; pages are worn and quite discoloured; several pages show signs of discolouration from being in contact with the fabric bookmarks (first page, vii); bookmarks are frayed at ends
