Research Facts
The GalTel-18 was used in electro surgery; used to treat skin conditions such as telangiectasia and plane warts by manually destroying the tissue.
Telangiectasis, also known as spider veins, occurs when small blood vessels called venules increase in size; this causes patterns of red lines to appear on the skin; although mostly benign, many people wish to have them removed.
Warts are small, rough growths that can appear anywhere on the body; there are a variety of types, often determined by location on the body; plane warts have flat tops and are small and round.
