Research Facts
In the early 20th century, Antiphlogistine was one of the old remedies for boils, poison ivy and chest congestion, first used in 1893 and created by Denver Chemical of New York.
.On the United States Patent and Trademark site, the second version of the product was apparently first marketed in 1948. Somehow Church & Dwight owned the trademark, but it died, and was revived in 2010 by W.F. Young, Incorporated, 302 Benton Drive East Longmeadow Mass.
