Dr Ralph and Mrs Olga Crawford donated their extensive Canadian dental collection to the DCF to create the museum in 1997; further donations were received while Dr Crawford was Curator Emeritus at the Dental Canada Museum until its closure in 2008; George T. Fulford took over his brother's apothecary in 1874; in 1887 he registered G.T. Fulford & Co. as a vendor and manufacturer of patent medicines; in 1890 he began producing Pink Pills for Pale People, which would ultimately make him a millionaire
