Roborgen // A Mental and Physical // Strength Giver // A food tonic of great value in all // cases of Nervous Exhaustion. // Contains 3 ounces // Price - 60 cents // MANUFACTURED BY // National Drug and Chemical Co. // of Canada, Limited // TORONTO - CANADA // No. 591 The Proprietary or Patent // Medicine Act"; contents of letter: "July 14th 1913 // National Drug and Chemical Co. // Montreal // Gentlemen: - // I have examined your preparation known // as Roborgen and find that it contains about // 70% protein, 12% of moisture and yields // 15% of ash. It also contains about 1 3/4% of // phosphorus, part of which is combined with // the protein and the rest, for the most part, // in other organic forms closely allied to the // forms in which phosphorus is found in the // human body. When treated first with cold // water and tehn with hot the preparation goes // into solution forming a liquid of agreeable // taste and odor. My analysis leads me to the // opinion that this is a highly nutritious // food. // Yours truly, // (Signed) J. F. Snell // Professor of Chemistry"
