Nursing Sister Glenys Elliott trained as a nurse at St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington, England and was in the Royal Canadian Navy (1964) until retirement in November 1991.
Nursing Sisters wore this type of "nurse's cap, a white veil, especially for nursing sister's uniforms during WW1 (1914-1918) and WWII (1939-1945).
