Cartridge dental syringe that consists of a central hollow cylindrical barrel with a slightly tapered open round tip that has threading on its inner edges; the other end of the syringe is open and round; the right and left sides of the barrel have an oval opening that runs almost the full length of the barrel; a plunger and finger grip section is attached to the barrel with two pivots near the end which allow the plunger to be moved away from the barrel; the plunger is made of a piece of solid cylindrical metal with a flat round thumb push piece on the end and a larger round piece with a threaded hole in the centre on the tip; the tip end of the plunger has a rounded hollow piece around it that has rounded finger grip pieces coming off at the right and left sides

Description
Dental syringe, which consists of a syringe, 8 needles, and a wrench in a box; the syringe (a-c) consists of (a) a solid cylindrical metal plunger with a flat thumb press piece at the end; this piece has rounded edges; the cylindrical part of the plunger goes through (b) a metal nut that has a cylindrical open centre and hexagonal outer edges; the end of the nut that is closest to the plunger is smooth inside, while the other end is threaded to allow it to be attached to (c) a metal barrel with finger grips; thebarrel is cylindrical and threaded at one end; the other end is tapered, but also threaded to allow the attachment of needles (d-k); the needles all have a hollow round threaded inner part and hexagonal outer edges at the base which then tapers outwards to a hollow cylindrical needle; the ends vary: (d) open, with no needle; (e-g) with short straight needles; (h-j) with short straight needles on angles; (k) has a round base and a long straight needle; there is also (l) a round threaded cap that fits onto and closes the tip of the syringe; there is also a wrench (m) that is made of flat metal with two rounded ends and fit onto the nut and the base of the needles; all pieces are stored in (n) a rectangular-shaped cardboard box with closed sides and bottom and (o) a separate lid that fits over and covers the box; both the outside top and bottom of the box have a paper cover; the top has printed manufacturing information on it

Dental syringe for infiltration anaesthetic with 9 interchangeable needle tips comes in a rectangular dark brown wooden box (a) with a maroon, leather, decorative border and embossed gold lettering on top; box has rounded edges and opens via two metal hinges on the back; bottom of box is covered with a maroon fabric; inside, the top is padded and covered with yellow leather and the bottom is lined with orange paper; there is a small white oval sticker with a red border stuck to the bottom of the box handwritten on in blue ink; silver metal syringe has two parts; plunger (b) has a flat circular thumb rest and the numbers 1-25 stamped into the side; plunger screws into the top of a cylindrical barrell (c) via a round nut which is attached to (b); barrell has a finger rest on either side at the top; there is an attached rubber ring around the bottom and a tapered threaded end for attaching the needles (d-l); (d-k) all have a hollow round threaded inner part and hexagonal outer edges at the base which tapers to a small hollow cylindrical needle at the tip; (l) has a a hollow round threaded inner part and a rounded outer edge; (d-i) all have short straight needles attached to necks with varying angles; (j) has a straight neck and a long straight needle; (k) has a straight neck with a short straight needle; (l) has an angled neck and no needle; when inside the box, syringe sits on a carved yellow wooden syringe rest (m), covered in dark yellow leather; there are two depressions carved into the block, an oblong one for (c) and one which is torpedo shaped; thin silver metal wire (n) is also included in the set
