Ingram and Bell postcard, which consists of a rectangular, two-sided card, with a depiction of the Ingram and Bell showroom on the front and printed and handwritten characters on the reverse; a green postage stamp is affixed to the proper right corner of the reverse side of the card.

On the front surface of the card "Showroom of Ingram & Bell, Limited, 256 McCaul Stree, Toronto" is printed in red along the top; in the bottom proper left corner, "111,679 J.V. [the J.V. set inside a circle]" appears printed in black; on the reverse, grey printed letters read, "PRIVATE POST CARD // Our Mr. _____ will have the pleasure of calling on you about _____ with a complete line of PHYSICIANS' and HOSPITAL SUPPLIES. // We solicit for him a liberal share of your patronage. // INGRAM & BELL, LIMITED // SEE OTHER SIDE" followed by a graphic of a hand pointing to the proper left, "Dr. _____ // _____ // _____ // _____."; the stamp in the proper right corner of this side reads, "CANADA POSTAGE // 1 CENT 1"; the postmark stamped in the proper right corner reads, TORONTO, ONT // JAN 16 11-AM // 1915 // HELP THE MUSKOKA FREE HOSPITAL FOR CONSUMPTIVES"; over the first blank line in the text, "J A S Hart" (?) appears handwritten in black pen; "25th Jany [sic]" appears similarly over the second black line; in the next text block over the first blank line following "Dr.", "Arkell" appears handwritten in black ink, followed by "Beechville // Ont."

Condition Remarks
The four corners of the card were slightly worn; the paper was slightly yellowed; there were no rips or tears; on the reverse side there were two light stains, pink in colour, in the top proper left corner, both 1.2 cm in diameter.
