Description
Kit consists of (a) a cardboard box and (b) its lid, (c) the injector syringe: a metal barrel with a needle tip; inside the barrel is a spring-loaded plunger to push the pellet through the needle; spring is coiled and sprung by means of a metal knob on the side of the barrel that moves through a hole cut in the barrel for that purpose; (d) a metal tube that serves as a cap for the needle, (e) a cylindrical plastic vial, stopped with a cork and wrapped in a paper label with one pellet inside, (f) a paper notice, and (g) an instruction leaflet; box is lined with crumpled tissue paper that has not been given an accession number.

Research Facts
Triogen was later combined with the Salk polio vaccine to make Quadrigen, which proved to be toxic after experiencing temperature changes. The pertussis vaccine alone, as well as combined with those for diphtheria and tetanus, has long been controversial, and there have been cases in which it has allegedly made children very sick or caused their death.
