A metal "Baby Ben" alarm clock; has a rectangular base with a round face; the face is a slightly lighter shade of silver (aluminum?) and under a circular convex piece of glass; there are dials and knobs on the back for setting the time and alarm.

This is a series 8 Baby Ben clock; clocks with radium arms and dials were used because it glowed; the painters of these clocks (mostly female) often suffered from skin ulcerations, tumours, and many eventually died.

Condition Remarks
needs slight cleaning; #2: the clock was dusty; there were several brown deposits on the front of the clock near its top, as well as on the top side; there were nicks and dents on its corners; metal parts showed no signs of corrosion; #3: dirty.

slightly tarnished; #2: the watch was slightly tarnished; a small pin that connects the main body of the watch with the watch ring had become loose and appeared slightly brittle; there was no other sign of damage; all parts moved freely; #3: some tarnish.
