Description
Syringe kit, which consists of several pieces in a metal case; the syringe itself is made up of six metal parts (a-f); these consist of (a) the syringe barrel, which is a hollow cylindrical tube with a tapered, threaded, open tip and a round open threaded end; a pair of flat finger grips come out at the left and right sides; a plunger (b) fits into the syringe; the plunger is made of a solid cylindrical shaft with a rounded plug at one end that fits snugly into the syringe barrel; the other end of the shaft has threading which allows the attachment of a thumb-push piece (c); this piece is round and flat and has a threaded area on the bottom; the plunger end of the barrel has a rounded metal cap (d) which has a hole in the centre and threading on its inner edges; the cap fits over and onto the end of the barrel and the plunger shaft slides through it; the tip end of the barrel also has a rounded metal cap (e), with a hole in the centre and threading on its inner edges; the cap fits over and onto the end of the barrel and the syringe tip goes through the centre of the cap; there is also a rounded syringe tip cap (f); this cap is rounded and hollow with a flat closed top and an open round bottom that has threading on its inner edges; a needle (g) will also fit onto and over the syringe tip; the needle has a hollow rounded open base with threading on its inner edges; the other end tapers to a hollow cylindrical metal needle that has a sharp open bevelled tip; all pieces of the kit are stored in a metal case (h); the case is square with a rectangular piece at the right side; the case has a lid hinged onto a bottom; both pieces have 7 outwardly-rounded sections molded into the metal; there are two needle-holder clasps attached to the top right; the bottom left has 7 flat rounded strips of metal at the left side; these hold the case contents snugly in place in the case; the back hinge has a small spring which lifts the lid when the front clasp is pushed in

# 1: inside box had leakage; # 2: no damage; #3: slightly dusty; paper yellowing slightly; no corrosion on metal pieces; on one short side of the lid, the paper was torn in an area 0.5 cm x 0.8 cm; there was a dark stain underneath and to the left of this, 0.5 cm x 0.3 cm, and three smaller black marks on the top surface of the lid.

Description
Syringe set in a case, which consists of (a) the syringe barrel which is made of a hollow cylindrical glass tube with open ends; the plunger end has an open round end with a slight lip; the other end of the barrel is tapered to a cylindrical tip that has a small round opening; the side of the barrel has two incremented scales on it; the plunger (b) fits into the syringe barrel; the plunger is made of closed hollow cylindrical glass with a round flat thumb push piece at the end; the tip of the plunger is flat and closed; the syringe set comes with three needles (c-e) which fit over the tip of the barrel; all of these needles consist of a length of thin, hollow cylindrical metal tubing with a sharp bevelled tip; the base of these needles is round, hollow and open at the end; above this is a squared gripping area that has manufacturing information stamped into the metal; the gripping area tapers to join the needle's tubing; all parts of the syringe set are stored in a rectangular-shaped metal case (f); the case has a lid that is attached with a hinge at the back and a clasp at the front; the inside bottom of the case has a metal attachment with 12 rounded tabs which hold the parts securely inside the case

Syringe kit, which consists of several pieces housed in a metal case; the Record syringe is made of three parts (a-c); the barrel (a) is made of hollow cylindrical glass with open round ends; one end has an attached tapered metal tip that has a small round opening; the other end has an open round metal band that has a small rounded pivot piece on the outside edge; the syringe plunger (b) fits snugly into the barrel; the plunger consists of a solid cylilndrical metal bar with a larger-diameter cylindrical plug at the tip and a flat round thumb push piece at the other end; a round cap (c) with a slot cut in one side fits onto the plunger and on top of the barrel end; the pivot piece on the barrel fits into the slot on the cap and holds it onto the barrel; the kit contains 8 needles (d-k); these all consist of a length of narrow hollow metal tubing with a sharp open bevelled tip; the base of (d-j) is round and open with flattened oval finger grips, then tapers to join the needle; the base of (k) is round and open and has gripping edges stamped into the metal, then tapers to join the needle; the kit contains a wire holder (l) which is a length of hollow cylindrical metal tubing that is open at both ends; there are 13 needle wires housed in the holder (not numbered); these wires fit into the needles and keep them clear of dirt; all pieces are housed in a metal case (m-o); the syringe parts are held in place in the case by a metal insert; this consists of a flat piece of metal with cut out tabs that have been turned upwards; the case is rectangular in shape with a bottom (n) and lid (o); the bottom has a closed base and four sides and an open top; the insert (m) fits into the inside bottom; the case lid (o) has a closed top and four sides and an open bottom; the lid fits onto and over the bottom

Description
A metal hypodermic kit; case hinges at the back; top and bottom surfaces are horizontally corrugated, sides are smooth; fastens at front with clasp; interior has flat mounts with semicircular clips on bottom and top surfaces; top mount has four clips which are paired: two at the front edge and two at the back; bottom mount has five pairs of clips: three small and two large ones in the centre; also included are three hypodermic needles with round hollow bases and squared rims which taper upwards to base of needle, and a plastic needle holder designed for two hypodermic needles whose base would clip into the plastic pair of prongs at each end and tips would rest inside a hexagonal case; four needle wires are included in the kit.
