Research Facts
Sutures are used to close a wound or incision so it can properly heal; sutures are applied using a specialized needle and thread or other material.
The Kendall Company began when Henry P. Kendall purchased a textile mill in Massachusetts in 1903; the company developed into an industry learder in the production of textile based, and other, medical products; The Kendall Company acquired Bauer & Black in 1928.
The logo on the bottom of the jar indicates the jar was manufactured by Ball Brothers Glass Mfg. Co., which used this version of the cursive “Ball” logo from 1933 to 1960.
