A metal syringe opener in a box; the syringe opener (a) consists of a syringe barrel, a silver metal cylinder with two arms for the fingers and a six-sided bolt (b) attached at the end; the plunger (c) is removable and is cylindrical and is inserted into the bolt at the end of the syringe; at the end of the plunger is a large oval that is pushed with the thumb; there is also a removable tip (d), a long, thin metal rod (e), and an envelope (f) containing several small leather rings; there is also a wrench (g) for tightening and loosening the bolt on the syringe opener; the box is rectangular, consisting of a top (h) and bottom (i) and is made of silvered cardboard.
