A student's molecular model kit in a box consisting of 20 white wooden balls, 12 black, 7 red, 17 green, 4 yellow, and 4 orange and 32 small metal springs; each ball has several holes drilled into it for the springs to be inserted; the box is coated in leatherette and has several compartments for holding the different coloured balls and consists of a base (a) and a lid (b).
Note: The curatorial staff decided it would be better not to individually number each ball and spring in the interests of saving time, and because it would be difficult to hide the numbers if the objects were ever put on exhibit.
