Needle forceps, which consist of a scissor-like instrument with long straight handles that have open circular finger grips; the handles have a locking device just below the finger grips; the handles join together just before the blades; the blades have solid flat circular ends, each with four intersecting straight grooves cut into the inside edge to allow the forceps to hold onto a needle; the shaft of each of the blades is flat on the inside and rounded on the outside edges, and they join together just at the handle.
