Albert Harris, a Canadian Air Force veteran; fitted for the back brace in the early 1950s following a military injury; the museum narrowed down the possible creation date of the brace, and as a result, Albert filed a succesful claim with Canadian Veteran Affairs; more information available in the donor file.
