B.O.C. fluothane vaporizer, which consists of (a) a round threaded painted metal top with a hollow piece of cylindrical metal tubing going downwards; the tubing has a hole at the side, near the bottom; the right side of the top has a hollow round nozzle for hook-up to an anaesthesia machine; the left side has an on/off lever with a semicircular piece of metal attached; this piece is marked in increments from 0 to 10; there is a round threaded nozzle to the left of the switch; this allows the vaporizer to be attached to a flow meter; the top of the vaporizer has an open round hole, which is sealed with a cork and bakelite plug on a metal chain; there is a flat hexagonal piece of metal to the left of the hole; the inside of the top is threaded to allow the attachment of (b) a glass jar designed to hold liquid fluothane, and labelled with increments of cc's.

Condition Remarks
The vaporizer arrived very dirty, dusty and oily; the metal shows minor wear, but no corrosion; the paint shows minor scratches; the bakelite is complete and undamaged; the cork is complete and has a small amount of residue at the bottom; the glass shows no cracks, chips or excessive wear; #2 no new damage
