Wooden dental chair (b) sitting on square, four-legged metal base (a) with lever on left side to adjust height; stuffed black leather-covered seat and seat back; round decorative elements carved on top of chair; arm-rests with stuffed leather-covered tops are adjustable via a metal lever on their side; branch design inlay on wooden side of armrests; adjustable footrest has rectangular vertical wooden piece, stuffed and covered in black leather, and a horizontal piece underneath covered in yellow fabric; adjustable head rest is covered in black leather and is height-adjustable; all leather is attached by brown metal studs to wood; rectangular stuffed leather cushion (c) goes on seat.

Dr Ralph and Mrs Olga Crawford donated their extensive Canadian dental collection to the DCF to create the museum in 1997; further donations were received while Dr Crawford was Curator Emeritus at the Dental Canada Museum until its closure in 2008; this item was purchased by Dr. Don Beauprie from Deep River, Ontario and is believed to be made by the Harvard Dental Company of Canton, Ohio.
