Dr Ralph and Mrs Olga Crawford donated their extensive Canadian dental collection to the DCF to create the museum in 1997; further donations were received while Dr Crawford was Curator Emeritus at the Dental Canada Museum until its closure in 2008; the brochure states that Putrimodors 22 is a biological paste for the treatment of the root canal, and that the slow liberation of chlorine and the mildly acidic reaction of Putrimodors 22 act as an effective germicidal in the presence of infections of the root canal and the periapical tissue
