Research Facts
Dr Ralph and Mrs Olga Crawford donated their extensive Canadian dental collection to the DCF to create the museum in 1997; further donations were received while Dr Crawford was Curator Emeritus at the Dental Canada Museum until its closure in 2008; this item was donated by Dr. S. Nicolic from Vancouver, British Columbia on behalf of their patient, Mr. Ernest Carewick; it is believed to be a crown remover; Stardental is celebrating their 100-year anniversary in 2011; however the company website also mentions that they were making instruments as early as 1889
