Silver metal stereoptic viewer consists of two clear glass lenses mounted on an upright rectangular surface; knobs at either end can be pulled outward to adjust distance of lenses from each other; curved piece of metal comes down from lenses, acts as the viewer's handle; lens surface connects to an horizontal metal surface with row of small cut-out rectangles; round knob to the right is attached to cylindrical handle and wheel with teeth on end; turning the knob allows the wheel to move along the cut-out rectangles and brings the lenses closer to or further from the image being viewed; the viewing stand, parallel to the lens surface, has two clips on either side that can be raised or lowered to hold the image being viewed; both the lens surface and the handle are on springed hinges and can be bent inward and held in place via metal clip to make the viewer more portable.
