Silver metal pair of magnifying eyeglasses consist of two clear glass square lenses mounted in square brackets on top of hollow cylinders; screw-like curved piece of metal between cylinders with a ridged knob in centre; spinning knob adjusts distance of lenses from each other; lenses connect via two pieces of rectangular metal to a piece of metal shaped with two semi-circles, to rest on the cheekbones, and a curved piece in the middle, to sit on the bridge of the nose; two cylindrical handles, covered in white rubber, with curved ends to sit behind the ears; handles fold inward to make glasses more portable.

Dr Ralph and Mrs Olga Crawford donated their extensive Canadian dental collection to the Dental Canada Fund to create the museum in 1997; further donations were received while Dr Crawford was Curator Emeritus at the Dental Canada Museum until its closure in 2008.
