Research Facts
Dr Ralph and Mrs Olga Crawford donated their extensive Canadian dental collection to the DCF to create the museum in 1997; further donations were received while Dr Crawford was Curator Emeritus at the Dental Canada Museum until its closure in 2008; these casts were taken while Mr. Diefenbaker (1895-1979) was in his 70s; his wife Olive once stated, "John does not find his strength in the dental chair!"; as leader of the Conservative Party, Mr. Diefenbaker was Prime Minister of Canada from 1957-1963
