Copper amalgam box is rectangular in shape and made of cardboard; box has a white top section (a), a gray bottom section (b) and a rectangular gray cardboard insert (c) which fits inside (b); (a) has two semi-circular cutouts on the long edges and a white sticker printed on in blue ink which stretches the length of the box; (b) has the company information printed on the bottom in brown ink and a white sticker printed on in black ink on the bottom; sticker is covering half of the company logo printed on the bottom.

Dr Ralph and Mrs Olga Crawford donated their extensive Canadian dental collection to the DCF to create the museum in 1997; further donations were received while Dr Crawford was Curator Emeritus at the Dental Canada Museum until its closure in 2008; The S. S. White Dental Manufacturing Company began in 1844 as a tooth factory and over the years expanded to produce a variety of dental tools and machines; copper amalgam was used to fill teeth to prevent further tooth decay
