Research Facts
Used at McGill University to teach dental students the different esthetic anterior tooth arrangements; Dr Sykora's denture collection original inventory #83 a. Dentsply Canada began in the early 1900's and was originally known as The Dentists' Supply Company but it wasn't until 1963 with the acquisition of L. D Caulk that Dentsply took on a physical presence in Canada. Bioblend plastic resembles human dentition. Dr Ralph and Mrs Olga Crawford donated their extensive Canadian dental collection to the DCF to create the museum in 1997; further donations were received while Dr Crawford was Curator Emeritus at the Dental Canada Museum until its closure in 2008.
