This pamphlet originally belonged to and was produced by the Health League of Canada, which was founded on the purpose of providing health education and promoting disease prevention. After the Health League of Canada discontinued, its records were moved to the National Archives of Canada in Ottawa and later discovered by Arthur Gryfe, a former MD and appointed archivist of the Health League of Canada, even though the group barely existed at the time of his appointment.
