Medium-sized one page cream paper folded leaflet pamphlet with four pages of content including the title page; the first half of the title page from top to bottom has a blue background and inside the background is the title and statistics on cases of syphilis and gonorrhoea written in white and a subheading written in orange; there is also a large outline of a test tube on the top left of the front page; the bottom half of the title page has a cream white background mentioning the date of when cases of venereal diseases were reported, in blue and orange ink, and images of human figures coloured in orange, each one acting as a symbol and representing 500 people who were discovered to have a venereal disease during specific years; the content over the next two pages is printed in blue ink and has large bolded titles; on the back and fourth page the pamphlet urges readers to take the issue seriously; and at the bottom of the last page it states that the pamphlet acts as a message from the Health League of Canada.

This pamphlet originally belonged to the Health League of Canada, which was founded on the purpose of providing health education and promoting disease prevention. After the Health League of Canada discontinued, its records were moved to the National Archives of Canada in Ottawa and later discovered by Arthur Gryfe, a former MD and appointed archivist of the Health League of Canada, even though the group barely existed at the time of his appointment.
