MIE Everseal anaesthesia mask / facemask; which consists of a round rubber mount, with an open hole in the centre; the mount is attached to a convex-shaped neoprene-coated rubber body which has edges that turn up inside the mask; there is a yellow rubber manufacturer's label on the outside body of the mask; the mask was attached to valve 997.008.052, which was attached to hoses 997.008.050 and .051 and these were attached to anaesthesia machine 997.008.001 by Dr. Matthews.

The manufacturer's label reads, "MIE // EVERSEAL // NEOPRENE COATED // ANTI-STATIC // REGISTERED DES. // MADE IN ENGLAND"; the mount has raised lettering which reads, "MEDICAL & INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT LTD. // LONDON ENGLAND"; the number "4" can be seen at the top of the outside edge

The mask arrived dirty and dusty; the mount is complete and undamaged and still flexible; the neoprene-coated body has minor cracking visible all over the outside; the inside edge has one larger crack; #2 no new damage
