Established in 1889; Rawleigh's Golden Cough Syrup and Rawleigh's Ru-Mex-Ol; Golden contained alcohol, chloroform, menthol, guaiacol and horehound and claimed to cure whooping cough and asthma; Ru-Mex-Ol had 26.5% alcohol and rhubarb -- remedy for scrofula, eczema, purifying blood and preventing T.B.; fined $100.00 and costs, Oct. 16, 1916
