Wax model (moulage) of an infantile uterus with small fallopian tubes and ovaries; the model is made of oil-painted beeswax with talc, built up on a small plywood base; the model shows a small uterus with fallopian tubes which are dilated and distended -- indicating salpingitis due to infection; the ovaries appear to be reasonably normal; a red spot at the lower left side of the uterus could show a possible perforation of the uterus as a result of an induced abortion; the model is painted to depict true colour.
