Wax model (moulage) of a normal parous uterus; the model is made of oil-painted beeswax with talc, built up on a plywood support; there is a thick metal wire leading from the uterus to the fallopian tubes and ovaries built into the wax for added support; the uterus is the normal shape and the cervix and fallopian tubes are normal; a follicular cyst or parovarian cyst can be seen at the left; the model is painted to depict true colours.

Condition Remarks
The model shows no chips or breaks in the wax; there is a crack across the right fallopian tube which should be repaired at some point as it is very fragile; the surface is undamaged
