Wax model (moulage) of a uterus with a large endometrial carcinoma; the model is made of oilpainted beeswax with talc, built up on a plywood support; the model shows a uterus which has been split to show a large endometrial carcinoma; surface lesion can be seen on both sides with some hemorrhage into the surface of the lesion visible; the white area above the red, shows the invasion of the carcinoma into the uterine wall; the cervix can be seen at the bottom; the model has been painted to depict true colour.
