(a) A deep, narrow rectangular copper box with manufacture seams and narrow elongated handles on both ends; the upper edge is machine-crimped with a rounded lip traversing the perimeter; the copper lid (b) is a flat piece of metal soldered in an upright position, half an inch just inside the outer edge; this lip fits inside the main box to provide a good seal; the sieve tray (c) is a flat piece of steel with upturned sides with large squared handles protruding at both ends; the surface of the sieve tray has 57 holes (3 rows of 19), allowing for the free flow of water over the instruments placed in the tray
