Automatic blood lancet, which consists of a cylindrical metal instrument with a larger tip piece, a release lever in the centre and a round, flat knob at the end; the end piece can be pulled back to move an inside lancet back, then the lever will release the spring-loaded lancet when pushed down; when release, the lancet comes out from a hole in the tip; the tip piece can be adjusted up or down to expose less or more of the lancet.
